Jess Mariano, he was always my favorite.
I could never choose a boy from a book--there are way too many I like.

I did another friends cut. It was bigger than the last one. If you were cut it was because we never talked or we just didn't have anything in common, so we had nothing to talk about. If you think I accidentally cut you (which, is, entirely possible) comment here and I'll re-add you. :)

When you have to study or get work done, what music (if any) do you put on to help you concentrate?

View 506 Answers

I have to have music playing while cleaning or doing homework. Otherwise, I have problems concentrating. It varies, depending on what I'm doing.

HEY.

I made a small friend's cut. Mainly people who I never really talked to, or went M.I.A that sort of thing. If you want to be re-added, just comment here.

Happy birthday, Donald Duck! Which cartoon character do you think is the most disturbing?

I just laughed when I read that. I mean, it starts off all innocent, with a Happy Birthday. I sort of feel bad for poor Donald Duck.

Mad Girl's Love Song
-Sylvia Plath

"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"

Dave: What's wrong with wanting to be liked?
Chase: You want them to like you, Dave? Tell them to go fuck themselves. People like that need people like you, otherwise there's twice as much trawsh and no one to take it out.

It's from a Margot&Nuclear So and So's song.
I just loved it. Such a beautiful song.
<3

I did a sick, sick thing to my love
My lack of loyalty, it swallowed her up
And she cooked me food
She squirmed and turned
Like a skeleton key

She left her man and attended to me

And don't call me that
Don't claim you love me
Cause you know that ain't true
My dire affliction I'll attribute to you

And you're finally free
To twist and turn
Like a skeleton key

You've gotta let me know
You've gotta let me know

I did a horrible thing to that girl
I bread my misery and drowned it in her
And she got me high
And I hardly noticed there were tears in her eyes

And I miss you less and less everyday
This stream of whisky's helped to wash you away

And it's clear to see
You're nothing special
You're a skeleton key

You've gotta let me know
You've gotta let me know
You've gotta let me know
You've gotta let me know

RIP John Lennon. The list of sudden and unexpected celebrity deaths is long—Princess Di, Heath Ledger, Kurt Cobain, Marilyn Monroe, and many more. Which one affected you the most on an emotional level?

View 500 Answers

Kurt Cobain. Obviously not when he died, but after (considering I was about three, actually make that two). But now I lovelovelove Nirvana. It's really sad to think what could have been. I mean, they were just amazing. Kurt Cobain is a mild obsession of mine now. His death ended grunge, completely. He was the central figure of that whole movement. It's just crazy to think about all that he influenced and was a result of him just being who he was.

John Lennon too. He was a Beatle. That in itself just says it all. Plus he was kinda my favorite. Even though I've never listened to his solo stuff after the Beatles, out of the four Beatles, he was my favorite.

Heath Ledge was just a shock. I really didn't believe it. He was so talented.

And since today is February 20 and all,

<3 )

"A person has all sorts of lags built into him, [he] is saying. One, the most basic, is the sensory lag, the lag between the time your sense receive something and you are able to react. One-thirtieth of a second is the time it takes, if you're the most alert person alive, and most people are a lot slower than that...You can't through sheer speed overcome the lag. We are all of us doomed to spend out lives watching a movie of our lives - we are always acting on what has just finished happening. It happened at least 1/30th of a second ago. We think we're in the present, but we aren't. The present we know is only a movie of the past, and we will really never be able to control the present through ordinary means. That lag has to be overcome some other way, through some kind of total breakthrough."
